Part of the 2018-2019 Season

When blind date newbie Aaron is set up with serial-dater Casey, a casual drink at a busy New York restaurant turns into a hilarious high-stakes dinner. As the date unfolds in real time, the couple quickly finds that they are not alone on this unpredictable evening  when other restaurant patrons transform into supportive best friends, manipulative exes and protective parents, who sing and dance them through ice-breakers, appetizers and potential conversational land mines. Can this couple turn what could be a dating disaster into something special before the check arrives?

October 12 — November 2, 2019

Part of the Phil & Colleen Morey/Donald & Barbara Newman Cabaret Series

In the tradition of last year's Cabaret Musical, FORBIDDEN BROADWAY'S GREATEST HITS, we're presenting a small musical in the Premier Cabaret for a limited run: DISENCHANTED!  Quirky, funny and perfect for an evening of musical theatre that is large in hilarity, but smaller in size!

Poisoned apples. Glass slippers. Who needs ’em?!  Not Snow White and her posse of disenchanted princesses in the hilarious hit musical that’s anything but Grimm. Forget the princesses you think you know – the original storybook heroines have come to life to set the record straight. A musical comedy satire that gives fairy tales the bird, DISENCHANTED! features Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Belle, Hua Mulan, The Little Mermaid, Pocahontas and more! (It also features adult themes, and mature situations. It is a satire and it is funny…for grown-ups.)

This knock-'em-dead, uproarious comedy, was the most-nominated show of the 2014 Broadway season with ten Tony nominations and four wins, including Best Musical.  When the low-born Monty Navarro finds out that he's eighth in line for an earldom in the lofty D'Ysquith family, he figures his chances of outliving his predecessors are slight and sets off down a far more ghoulish path.
