This Tony® Award Winning musical is set on December 4, 1956, when an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together at Sun Records in Memphis for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions ever.  Showcasing hit songs including Blue Suede Shoes, Fever, Great Balls of Fire, Folsom Prison Blues, Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On, Hound Dog, and many more!

Presented by JazzBuffalo and MusicalFare Theatre: Italian singer/songwriter Chiara Izzi was awarded 1st Prize by Quincy Jones in the 2011 Montreux Jazz Festival Vocal competition.  Chiara’s sound is based on her own unique interpretation of a fusion of different genres, including jazz, pop and Mediterranean sounds.  She will be joined by pianist Kevin Hays about whom The New Yorker declared “There are plenty of talented pianists…but few have Hays’s melodic charms and sense of style.”
