Josh Cohen just can't get a break. He's single, broke and to top it all off, his apartment's been robbed of everything but a Neil Diamond CD. Broke and alone, all hope seems lost – until a mysterious letter arrives that changes his life forever. Thus begins the hilarious and quirky romantic comedy about a good guy caught in a lifelong battle with bad luck.
It features a six member ensemble with two actors who play the same hapless-yet-warmhearted title character – one eventful year apart – in a 90-minute life-changing laughfest for the whole family that will leave you feeling better about the world!
The running time of the production is approximately 1 hour & 35 minutes, and is performed without an intermission.

This is just the type of production MusicalFare does best – fun and frisky, with plenty of jokes and lots of music from a well-tuned cast, all with one goal: Pure entertainment. ...a 90-minute whirlwind of surprising encounters (and) laugh-out-loud twists...a ridiculously talented ensemble of singing-actor-musicians.
How was I to know that “The Other Josh Cohen” was just what I needed to boost me into a state of foolish happiness on an otherwise dreary night...(it) wooed me into musical theater euphoria.
I was surprised and a little embarrassed by how much I liked, make that loved, this production. But I found myself really laughing out loud over and over at this musical...After two years of putting up with the pandemic, isn’t it time to get out for a good laugh with a happy ending?
This is 90 minutes of absolute delight on a stage, with music, including a "Neil Diamond" appearance. I mean, come on…what’s not to love?
...this 90-minute romp will leave you smiling and cheering...Its exuberance is contagious, and its message heartfelt.
