Norman Sham

Norman couldn't have asked for a better way to dive back into the business he loves, theatre, than to be directing his first show at MusicalFare, starring his beautiful, and talented wife, Debbie. She's a force on and off the stage, and there's no one better to sing and interpret the music and lyrics of Cole Porter. As an actor, Norm has appeared for MusicalFare in ZOOMA ZOOMA, URINETOWN, A NEW BRAIN, 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE, THE SPITFIRE GRILL and DANCING IN THE DARK. Other acting credits include THE TEMPEST, COMEDY OF ERRORS, KING LEAR, TWELFTH NIGHT and A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM (Shakespeare in the Park); BROOKLYN BOY (Jewish Rep), DON'T TOUCH THAT DIAL (Milwaukee Rep); THE PRODUCERS, AUGUST:OSAGE COUNTY, 12 ANGRY MEN, A FUNNY THING..., MAN OF LA MANCHA, ...CUCKKO'S NEST and GUYS & DOLLS (Kavinoky). He has also directed productions of YANKEE TAVERN, PROOF, THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD and 42ND STREET. Norm has won the Artie Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Musical for the years 1996 (MAN OF LA MANCHA) and 1999 (GUYS & DOLLS). He also won for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Play in 2002 as MARTY for the BET.
