WAITRESS
Jenna, a waitress and expert pie maker, is stuck in a small town and a loveless marriage. When a baking contest offers her a chance at escape, Jenna must weigh her commitments against a rare shot at freedom and recognition. It’s a recipe for happiness!

It’s a show that understands that hope, like a good pie, is made from scratch. Maria Pedro demonstrates a new dramatic gravity as Jenna. I had eagerly anticipated this performance by an actor who has formidable stage presence and range. I was entirely satisfied.
