Michael is a 9- time winner of the Buffalo Artie Awards, given for excellence in professional theatre in Buffalo, NY. MusicalFare credits include ONCE (chor.), RING OF FIRE (dir./chor.) IN THE HEIGHTS (chor.), AIN’T MISBEHAVIN’ (dir./chor.), SWONDERFUL: THE NEW GERSHWIN MUSICAL (dir./chor. with Doug Weyand), ALTAR BOYZ (chor.), and PIPPIN (dir./chor.). He has written, directed and choreographed 3 award-winning musicals, (ZOOMA ZOOMA, JAMESTOWN GALS: THE MUSIC OF PEGGY LEE AND LUCILLE BALL and FAMILIAR STRANGERS) all of which have been produced by MusicalFare to sell-out audiences. Michael’s work has also been seen locally at Shea’s 710 Theatre, The Kavinoky, Irish Classical, Buffalo United Artists and Theatre of Youth. As a performer, Michael performed internationally in VEE Corporation’s SESAME STREET LIVE: 1,2,3 IMAGINE! and has been seen locally at The Kavinoky, MusicalFare and Buffalo United Artists, among others. Michael most recently won the 2017 Buffalo Spree “Best of Buffalo” award for Outstanding Character Actor of the Year for his role as Miss Texas in MusicalFare’s production of PAGEANT. He is a graduate of the University at Buffalo Theatre and Dance Program, majoring in Musical Theatre with a concentration on choreography.
