Award - winning songwriter and Starring Buffalo artistic director Drew Fornarola returns to MusicalFare for his first solo-ish show in Buffalo since 2018. The evening will feature songs from Drew's musicals and movies, stories about their creation, and songs from the other artists that inspired them. Special guests will include Charmagne Chi, Louis Colaiacovo, Arianne Davidow, Annie DeFazio, Michael Galante, Terrie George, Jamil Kassem-Lopez, Stephen Piotrowski, Clara Tan, and Madalyn Teal. They will sing Drew's songs alongside those of Cole Porter, Elton John, Carol Hall, Alan Menken, and others.

Drew Fornarola is a songwriter and playwright from New York City and is the artistic director of Starring Buffalo. He has written songs for DreamWorks' VeggieTales and Shrek franchises, and was most recently represented off Broadway by STRAIGHT, a New York Times Critics' Pick that has been translated and licensed for productions around the world. He has headlined concerts at Lincoln Center, Feinstein's 54 Below (New York), London Theater Workshop (London), Broadway au Carre (Paris), Judith Hardes Theater (Phoenix), and Bar Fedora at Au Lac (Los Angeles) among others, and has earned a Bistro Awards Critics' Pick and nine MAC Award Nominations for his work as writer and host of Madame's Soiree, an avant garde variety show currently in its fifth season at historic NYC club The Duplex. @DrewFornarola www.drewfornarola.com
